The X230 has 2 BIOS EEPROM (storage) SPI chips concatenanted (joined) together: a 4MiB chip at the top and an 8MiB chip at the bottom.

2020/6/4 -You can pretty much just short the eeprom that stores the password so it doesnt get read at all and then overwrite it with whatever you want.
