Yomikata In the Japanese language, words can be written in kanji or kana. That's why many were surprised that Kanji Keyakizaka46 (欅坂46) and Hiragana Keyakizaka46 (けやき坂46) were different groups, as both names would normally be read as "Keyakizaka46"!✍🏻 #hinatrivia pic.twitter.com/x34CDOK1iq

Interestingly, the name of the real Keyakizaka street in Minato City, Tokyo, is partly written in hiragana (けやき坂). On the other hand, Hinatazaka46's namesake street in the same area is written the same way as the group's name (日向坂), but read as "Hyugazaka"! pic.twitter.com/HtGyVw8XAT
