Hey, im trying to learn Japanese, I just recently learned “せんしゅ” in the context of プロのやきゅうせんしゅ or プロのバスケットボールせんしゅ, I thought it meant “player” but is it just a word you attach to a sport to say “a person that DOES that sport”?
