寝(ね)だめ [+する] = to sleep a lot (typically on weekends) to make up for/prepare for the lack of sleep (during weekdays) It’s 寝る (sleep)+溜(た)める (accumulate) A lot of ppl do this, and yet it is highly questionable whether it is an effective way of staying healthy #nihongo
