Complaining to my sentoおばあちゃん friend that I suck at gardening (I do) & she said that, due to an ordinance from Meiji 8, part of her yard *must* be green and someone from the 葛飾区役所 will come by to scold her if her shrubs look unhealthy. So I suppose it could be worse 😳
