First time in my nearly 30 years in finance I recall seeing a "slowing Emerging Market with a worsening debt problem and a USD shortage" issue a 50-year bond at a yield nearly 200 bps inside the 10y UST yield. Seems like a bit of a nonsequitur somewhere.
