When I was living abroad as a child, I took 作文チャレンジ通信教育 （ベネッセ or something) to improve my Japanese writing. The structure I was taught to use was the same as in English essays. Introduction, Body 1, Body 2, and Conclusion.

That's a good educational method. I completely forgot what I've learned when I was a little child in Japanese class. I only remember I didn't like writing 読書感想文 filling 400文字原稿用紙3枚 without any guidance as 夏休み home work.😂
