MICROCHIP PET DOOR Wall Installation
Now, using the drilled hole as a reference, mark up the outside wall
and then move outside to cut the remainder of the hole there
We recommend using one of the tunnel extenders to make sure you have a clear path through the wall
Once this is the case, clear away any debris
The pet door's tunnel is 70mm (2 3/4") and each extender is 50mm (2"), so you need to calculate how many extenders you will need for the tunnel to reach the outside
The end has to stick out by at least 10mm (3/8 ) for the external frame to rest on
On the outside, the extended tunnel of the pet door should now be poking out of the hole
Insert the four screw caps with the groove facing away from the tunnel
We also recommend putting some sealant around the join between the external frame and the wall
