Hello! Let's talk about the basics of an individualized Education Program, also called an IEP. It is both a document and a process.
What is IN an IEP? It includes, but is not limited to: -Goals -Special education and related services
A student's IEP must be reviewed at least annually thereafter to determine whether the annual goals are being achieved and must be revised as appropriate.
Can the student be involved in this process? YES!
It is actually required that the student be invited to any IEP meeting where transition services will be discussed.
