Place the wood in the work area for the laser cutter.
Go to the Beam Studio computer software and click the camera icon to connect to the laser cutter.
Open up the sample image.
Drag the image onto the wood.
Focus the wood for the laser by using the acrylic tab.
Adjust the height of the workspace with an easy-to-use knob until the tab barely touches the wood.
Flip the piece of wood.
Try out the "Trace Image" feature by drawing something on the other side of the wood.
Select the area of the drawing (by dragging the mouse) and adjust the Threshold.
