Remove the OEM lower instrument panel side trim panels.
Remove center stack side trim panels for access to the control panel.
Disconnect wiring from lower center stack panel as needed.
Remove HVAC duct work and transfer to the new Instrument Panel using a T-10 torx bit. Then use a flat head screwdriver to unclip the top.
Attach USB panel into new Instrument Panel assembly with backing plate and 10/32" nut. (3/8" socket) Tighten to 1Nm (10 lb-in)
Remove the tire pressure monitoring system module from the back end of lower IP using a 10mm socket, and transfer to the new Instrument Panel.
New processor is now ready with mounting brackets.
Plug all harnesses into Embedded Processor. (See ICS wiring diagram)
Install Embedded Processor into the OEM CD amplifier location, using original OEM screws. (7mm socket) Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb in)
Finally, complete the installation by setting up the equipment control console specifically for your needs.
Remove the driver side lower dash trim panel. (7mm socket)
3. Remove the passenger sideer
Remove screw for instrument cluster cover panel. Move shift lever and steering column down and remove instrument cluster trim. (7mm socket)
Unplug and remove OEM amplifier. (7mm socket)
Remove OEM temp/humidity sensor from the back of lower instrument panel. (flat screwdriver)
Assemble small-panel with USB harness. Place in the passenger side upper dash accessory pocket panel and run harness to center dash Embedded Processor area. This will be used for future program updates if needed.
Install Embedded Processor into OEM amplifier location with previously removed OEM screws. (7mm socket) Tighten to 3Nm (27 lb-in)
Reattach all driver side trim panels with previously removed OEM screws. (7mm socket) Tighten to 3Nm (27 lb-in)
