Japanese architect Kengo Kuma has unveiled his "Meditation House"
Located close to the Austrian border, the 160 sq m building can be only accessed by foot.
The facade is comprised of 1,500 individual timber boards and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The building houses a tea room with artisan- designed tatami mats and a meditation hall.
The use of wood has a link to Japan, where houses have been built predominantly out of wood for thousands of years.
According to Kuma, the design aims to make visitors feel as though they are at one with the surrounding forest.
The pavillion was commissioned by owner the Das Kranzbach spa hotel
