By using this function generator we can adjust the frequency and Duty Cycle to demonstrate how this affects the LED.
Duty Cycle is used to describe the amount of "ON TIME" and is measured by percentage.
By adjusting the Duty Cycle to 90% you can see the light is ON 90% and OFF only 10% of each second.
If we lower it down to a 10% Duty Cycle, you can see the light is only ON 10% of the time and OFF 90%.
At a slow frequency the flickering is very visible to the eye.
We need to increase the frequency to 100 x per second (or 100Hz) So the flickering is no longer perceived by the eye
