Thursday night (Nov. 26) Water begins flowing in from the tunnel.
Friday morning (Nov. 27) Water continues to flow into the reservoir during steady rainfall throughout the day
By the time the reservoir stopped filling on November 27, it was filled to a depth of 17 feet and held 400 million gallons of combined sewage that would otherwise have flowed into Calumet area waterways.
In the coming days, the water will be pumped up to the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant to be cleaned before being released to the Little Calumet River.
