2024/02/02That latter upload has the audio track replaced with the album version of the song, so later on in that video, the footage and the music do not match each other. Even in the footage that I have taken from it, the picture was quite badly out-of-sync with the music, with the picture running too early compared to the sound, and earlier in some places than in others, so I have fixed that. That video had also been horizontally stretched, causing everything to appear too wide, so I have used special software to unstretch it. I have also adjusted the colours, reducing their intensity quite a lot and making the dark areas quite a lot lighter. The source video I used for the rest of my video, which begins at the.time-point, was very slightly out-of-sync, with the picture running a bit late compared to the sound, so I have fixed that. I have also adjusted the colours, increasing their intensity. I have cropped the edges of the video picture from both source videos, just enough to clean them up. Both source videos had a resolution of 480p, and I have upscaled it to 1080p, as this increases the bitrate, which slightly improves picture quality at all the different resolution settings the viewer can select, but please be aware that playing it at the 1080p setting is not going to make it look as good as a true 1080p video.
I have replaced the audio track with a high-quality, edited one of the album track, and this involved speeding up the footage of both source videos slightly, as it was running a bit slow compared to the HQ audio track I am using. The version of the song used in the music video is one which was not released commercially, so I have created a high-quality audio track of it by taking the album version and removing two passages from it. At the.time-point, I have removed 32 seconds of music, and at the time-point, I have removed 16 seconds of music. At the time-point to the end of the video, I have used the original audio track of the source video, as I had no access to a better-quality version of it.
