Put your baby up on your shoulder.
Once in the wrap, her legs should be in an "M-like" frog-legged position.
STEP THREE Take the shoulder piece that is closest to your chest and pull it away from your body.
Slide your baby down your chest and into the shoulder piece.
Spread the fabric wide over your baby's body.
Reach into the sides to adjust her legs into the frog or fetal tuck position.
Pull the front panel up over her body to the back of the neck.
She should be in a fully upright position, with her head close enough to kiss.
Make sure her nose is parallel to the ground or higher, and that her airway is always clear.
Horizontal or "hammock" positions and outward facing positions are unsafe and should not be used with a baby wrap.
