What are bomboloni?
Starting the dough
Increase mixer speed to medium and let the dough mix for 4 minutes
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and allow dough to rise for 2 hours in a warm area
Punch out as many circles of dough as you can
Cover and allow dough to rise in a warm area for 1.5 hours
Once oil has reached 350 degrees, set up a frying station
Carefully lay donuts 2 or 3 at a time into 350 degrees Fahrenheit oil

NUTELLA BOMBOLONIS
Start with Milk - 1 cup Sugar - 1 tbsp
Dust your work surface with flour and start rolling the dough into a ball
Keep rolling for 10-12 minutes.
Roll the dough, almost 1cm in thickness
Re-roll the leftover dough to make more bombolonis.
In a round bottomed saucepan, heat oil, make sure it is not too hot, keep the flame on medium
Fry the bombolonis until golden brown.
We are frying the bombolonis in batches.
We are using a piping bag attached with a star nozzle to fill the Nutella.
