All you need is cardboard, something to cut with, and a marker or some paint
Start by deciding what you want to make.
Eyvind Earle painted the backdrops for Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
I started by drawing out my picture in pencil and then outlining it in black
I used the marker to add a few more details to the trees, castle and bushes.
It's easiest if you cut and peel small sections at at time.
Make sure you are not going all the way through the cardboard
I continued cutting out details like the clouds or castle windows.
Once I was happy with the 'cuts' 1 went back with the marker and added details.
You could also use a paint marker or gel pen.
