A few good instruments doesn't mean good quality control
Helping YOUR Ocarina Journey
Use your hands to roll a hunk of clay into a ball a little smaller than a tennis ball.
Use a wire (we used an old violin string) to cut your sphere in half.
Use a tool to carve out the inside of each half.
Try to make the remaining walls of the ocarina an even (same) thickness.
Score your two halves and put them back together
Make a much smaller ball and flatten sides to create a rectangular prism.
This will be the mouthpiece. You can always cut it down to be a better size.
Score and attach to the body of the ocarina.
Use another tool to remove the clay around the 2nd handle.
Use a chopstick or small round shape to create 4 additional holes in the body of your ocarina.
