BEGIN BY ENTERING YOUR UNIQUE FOUR-DIGIT CODE INTO THE KEYPAD

IF YOUR SYSTEM HAS PARTITIONS -A SECOND SCREEN WILL APPEAR, AND YOU WILL NEED TO ARM EACH PARTITION

IN THIS EXAMPLE -WE WILL ARM THE SECOND WAREHOUSE PARTITION

TO DISARM THE SYSTEM

Enter your master code into the keypad

Use the arrow keys to scroll to option 9: 'System Master Options'

Press the 9 key to select

Press the 'O' key on the 'View Event Buffer' screen

The arrow keys can be used to scroll through all events logged in the system

Each event will be stamped with a date & time

Newest events will be logged first

However, this system cannot be armed if zones are in an "open" state.

You'll need access to the DSC Maxsys 4020 Commercial Security Alarm Monitoring System Keypad.

When you're ready to arm your system, approach the keypad. If there are zones open, the "ready" light will NOT be illuminated.

To check which zones are open, simply press one of the arrow buttons on the keypad. This will scroll through all open zones.

You can then enter your code to arm the system.
