In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt
Pour in half of the liquid ingredients and mix until combined
Fold in lemon zest
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
While cake is baking, make frosting by whisking together butter and cream cheese in a large bowl
Add in lemon juice, lemon extract, and vanilla extract and give a quick mix
Transfer frosting into a piping bag
Allow cakes to cool completely on a wire rack
Frost the outside of the cake
