TURN ON THE VACUUM + POSITION CLAW UNDERNEATH YOUR COW
TAKE YOUR INFLATION + PLACE ON THE TEAT THAT IS FURTHEST AWAY FROM YOU
MAINTAIN YOUR VACUUM + PROCEED TO ALL TEATS AS NEED BE
TIP: USE YOUR INDEX FINGER TO GUIDE INFLATION ONTO THE TEAT (VERSUS LOOKING UNDER COW)
TURN THE UNIT ON + MONITOR MILK FLOW
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE COW, PROCEED TO PREP THEM FOR MILKING
ONCE MILKED OUT, PULL THE SHUTOFF CLIP DOWN TO SHUT OFF THE CLAW
REMOVE THE CLAW + HANG IT ON THE BUCKET
FINAL CHECK!
Turn on Portable Milker
Visually check the vacuum level - 50Kpa
Open vacuum tap to bucket
Lift cluster and check for pulsation
Open claw by pushing button on claw bowl
Cow lets down milk and the milking phase begins
Monitor milk flow throughout the process
When milk flow reduces, close vacuum on claw and remove cluster
Flush residue milk from tube by opening claw
Turn off Portable Milker
There are several reasons why there may be no vacuum in the milker
Check the pulsator
Check the vacuum hose
Check collection claw gasket. Adjust as shown
Check the bucket lid
Check the liners and hoses. Replace if needed
Please check if the frame lid is closed. The frame is the vacuum tank in these models. It is important that the lid is closed.
