Applying ink to the wood block
Students create their own wood block prints

Sketch a simple design in your circle
Trace your drawing two to three times directly onto the foam
Check with a helper or an adult in your room to make sure your lines are deep enough to print
Place your image on the right side of your paper face down
Lift up your image from opposite corners to reveal your first print
Apply the opposite color ink to your printing plate
Clean the remaining ink from your printing plate
