How to use APA Formatting
When you include information in your paper that was written by someone else, that information needs a citation.
You'll cite sources in two ways: using in-text citations and creating a references list.
When you paraphrase or quote a source, you'll want to include a citation directly after.
In APA formatting, this list goes in alphabetical order by author's last name.
Different types of sources, like academic journals, movies or websites, use a slightly different format for in-text citations and references.
