メニューを開く#OTD in 2012, the U.S. Coast Guard sank the "ghost ship" Ryou-Un Maru. The Japanese fishing vessel had drifted for over a year after being swept away by the 2011 tsunami that hit Japan. The Ryou-Un Maru had entered a busy shipping area 180 miles from Alaska when the USCG sank it.
